How Global Tour Creatives Became the Leader of Creatives for Touring Industry in the United States

There are plenty of ways to draw a crowd’s attention to an event. For concerts, people just need to make sure that they get some of the biggest names in the music industry or at least some of the more well-known local artists. Events need to be able to draw large crowds and to do that, it takes an attractive promotional piece, whether it’s posters, TV, radio spots, or other forms of advertisements. Global Tour Creatives is an agency that has specialized in all methods.

For music lovers in the United States, Global Tour Creatives isn’t an unfamiliar name. When their office opened in Los Angeles in 2010, no one expected the agency to become the leading entertainment production agency. Today GTC is responsible for almost 60% of the top-grossing North American tours.

While their success can be attributed to the artists who have worked with their agency, Global Tour Creatives also take pride in their organization and marketing. Lee Walsh, one of the agency’s three co-founders, works as a Creative Director, and he has assembled a team that is more than capable of delivering promotions that are bound to excite the audience.

The agency owes much of its success to its team. Lee reiterates that his team’s hard work has helped them reach heights they never imagined. Rodrigo Trabbold is among the most consistent performers on the team. He is a graphic designer who helped GTC create posters, flyers, brochures, and more. Rodrigo hails from São Paulo, Brazil. He joined the team in 2016 and has maintained his position for almost five years.

Joining Rodrigo from Marília, São Paulo, Brazil, is Senior Art Director Rafael Vankowski. Rafael joined the team in 2015, working under Lee’s guidance. After almost two years, he would receive a promotion to work as a Senior Art Director, helping GTC articulate their projects and concerts. 

Lee Walsh and his co-founders, James Hyland and Russell Treacy, originally came from Ireland, where they opened their first office in Dublin. When the trio initially started, they were met with a lot of doubt. People told them there was no way they could succeed, but despite all the discouragement, Global Tour Creatives waved them off. They built relationships and opened an additional office in Los Angeles. 

Today Global Tour Creatives is the number one entertainment production agency. They have partnered with some of the music industry’s biggest names like Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, the Chainsmokers, Shawn Mendes, Eagles, and more. 

GTC has built such a strong foundation in the touring industry that these days, it’s the artists reaching out to them. 

Outside of concerts, the agency has also been responsible for tours with Cirque du Soleil and Santa the Experience. However, last year’s global crisis forced them to put a hold on their 2020 plans. Global Tour Creatives are hopeful that the touring industry will come back online. Everyone on the team has their fingers crossed to resume tours in the summer.
