How Mohamad “Smush” Masri Brings a Whole Load of Fun to Video Gaming

Video game streaming has become a remarkable hit in the past few years, uniting avid gamers from different regions around the world into one massive community that upholds camaraderie and mutual respect for each others’ skills. It has become a source of worthwhile entertainment for both teenagers and adults alike. Mohamad “Smush” Masri, a passionate gamer, has successfully created one such online community on Facebook, a place that has become a source of hope and refuge for many gamers during the pandemic.

“As a streamer, I am able to get my community together and create smiles,” Smush explains. “I have pushed people through very hard times in life when they need to get their minds off things such as the coronavirus outbreak and being stuck at home. They watch my stream and enjoy the content while chatting with friends in the chat and forgetting about the sad things in their day or month. My community gets along with each other well; they have become a family that talks in my chat and they are from all over the world. I have very enjoyable and hilarious moments in my stream, and I connect with my community in a very special way,” he adds.

With over 114k followers on his Facebook page, Smush is considered one of the most promising up-and-coming streamers in the gaming industry today. He has accomplished quite a feat by putting a smile on the faces of his followers by simply having fun while streaming and making it look like a TV show. Interestingly, every single stream has enjoyable and hilarious moments. It has always been filled with laughter, something his fans look forward to all the time.

Smush is originally from Syria, and he migrated to the United States at a very young age together with his family. Like many immigrants, they, too, were seeking a better life. As a young boy, he always loved video games, and he would play them every day with his friends.

Even as he worked a 9-5 job in high school to earn his own income and help pay the bills, video gaming was always a part of him. After high school, he worked to send himself to college, but that did not turn out so well because of the high cost. He eventually just gave up because he could no longer afford it. After dropping out, he started streaming on Facebook Gaming, returning to his first love without expecting that it would pave the way for a new opportunity in his life.

A year into streaming, he became a partner of Facebook Gaming, and it became a full-time job where he gets to do the one thing he loves the most: video gaming. Over time, Smush learned FiveM coding and created a game server with over 3,000 players. He started doing this a year after his streaming career took off. He is a self-taught coder and is constantly learning new things related to this full-time job.

Motivated to take his full-time video streaming job to the next level, Smush is bent on growing his online community further in the coming years, connecting with more people from around the world, and continuing to create initiatives that will improve their lives overall. He also sees himself motivating other gamers to create their own content and impact as many lives as they can.

Follow Smush on Facebook to be entertained by his streaming empire.
