Strength and Honor (SNH) Training provides a customized fitness program for dedicated athletes. The organization was established by Steve Konopka cpps, a passionate strength coach who has first-hand knowledge of the ups and downs of both athletic and personal pursuits. By continuously experimenting and learning, the founder has crafted a training approach that seeks to maximize an athlete’s potential not only in sports but also in their daily life.

SNH Training operates on the principles that determination, dignity, and dedication are the foundation of achievement. Steve, a former professional football player, has a thorough grasp of what is required to attain elite-level performance and this experience informs the training philosophy and techniques employed by SNH. The organization is committed to guiding athletes toward realizing their aspirations and avoiding the common mistakes encountered by both athletes and their families.

One of the critical worries for athletes is the threat of injury, particularly anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. Female athletes have a significantly higher risk of suffering from an ACL injury, with statistics showing that they are up to eight times more likely to experience this type of injury compared to male athletes. Over the past two decades, the number of female ACL injuries has risen dramatically, with a 300% increase in the last 20 years and a staggering 800% increase since 1972. The majority of ACL injuries sustained by female athletes result from non-contact incidents such as sudden deceleration, rapid changes in direction, and improper landing techniques.

In an effort to mitigate the risk of injury, particularly ACL injuries, SNH Training places a strong emphasis on addressing the following risk factors: insufficient ankle mobility, unbalanced muscle strength, weak glutes, an improper hip-to-quad ratio, incorrect movement patterns, insufficient deceleration training, improper landing techniques, insufficient conditioning, poor nutrition, and overtraining or inadequate recovery. By proactively prioritizing proper strength training and movement development, SNH aims to significantly decrease the likelihood of devastating injuries like ACL tears.

Over the years, SNH Training has had a profound impact on the lives of numerous athletes, helping them to reach new heights both on and off the field. With a deep commitment to personalized programming, a focus on injury prevention, and a passion for helping athletes succeed, SNH has established itself as a leader in the athletic training community. Looking ahead, SNH remains dedicated to supporting even more athletes as they pursue their dreams and reach new levels of success. Whether through continuing to refine its training philosophy or the development of the new “ACL PROTOCOL” app more athletes in the years to come, SNH is poised to make a positive impact on the athletic community for many years to come.
