Jim Amen, CEO and Broker of Amen Real Estate, has become a top-producing real estate brokerage in California through his focus on working with online leads. Amen, who comes from a large Lebanese family who runs an independent chain of grocery stores in Southern California, became an expert in understanding home values through a mentor who brought him into the real estate appraisal business.

In 2008, when the recession destroyed the appraisal business model, Amen made the difficult decision to enter the real estate industry. However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing. The biggest challenges he faced when starting his business were working with others who didn’t take the time to educate themselves or have the same motivation and work ethic as him. It required self-discipline, consistent education, and a strategic approach to each deal.

Passionate about training and coaching agents, providing them with tactical and educational content, and utilizing data and systems to drive results, Amen founded SOAR, which coaches and trains agents to be successful as solo agents and how to build a team. He made it his mission to provide agent training and coaching to help agents be successful in the industry and turn around the 87% failure rate of new realtors in the first five years.

Amen differentiates himself by focusing on providing newer agents with foundational skills to obtain clients and know what they’re doing once they have a client. He recently began training emerging agents to use his 10 Tactical Pillars to go from a Top Producing Solo Agent to a Successful Team Leader.

A positive mindset is crucial when starting a business, and Amen advises anyone starting their own business to join a structured team, invest in coaching and education, talk to family before jumping into real estate, and set a schedule and stick to it. Fear means failure to him, but taking risks is necessary to reap the rewards.

Success to Amen means looking forward to going to the office every day, watching team members and people he coaches achieve their dreams, spending time with family and friends, and traveling to favorite spots. Financial freedom means having the flexibility to spend time with family, the freedom to travel anywhere in the world, and knowing that his family’s financial needs will be taken care of long after he is gone.

Amen’s current projects include completing his book, growing his real estate team focused on online lead generation, adding training content on Instagram and TikTok, and launching new programs and mastermind groups through SOAR.

In conclusion, Jim Amen has become a well-respected real estate broker, coach, and trainer, with a focus on working with online leads. His mission to help new agents be successful in the industry has led to the creation of SOAR, where he coaches and trains agents to be successful. His advice for anyone starting their own business includes investing in coaching and education, taking risks, and having a positive mindset.

Amen’s passion for training and coaching new agents will undoubtedly continue to help the real estate industry turn around the 87% failure rate of new realtors in the first five years. If you want to keep up with his work, follow his Instagram page @jimamen or visit his website, jimamen.com
