Miles Smith Helps Businesses Elevate by Offering Custom-Made Apps and Websites

Making sure that businesses survive and thrive today requires corporate executives and company owners to invest heavily in technology to guarantee that their brand stays connected and is accessible to consumers online. Software engineer and entrepreneur Miles Smith understands this need immensely and is offering custom-made apps, websites, and digital solutions through his company MS Technologies, LLC. By leveraging his personal skills and the collective potential of his team, he is able to either improve an existing app or website or build them from scratch, allowing businesses to stay current and highly competitive.

Due to his impressive output, Miles Smith has worked with some of the business industry’s biggest brands, including Walmart, Florida Blue, Uber, and Wavy Detail Studio, which is expected to launch in a few weeks. Interestingly, Miles Smith is one of the owners of Wavy Detail Studio, and its phenomenal app on iOS and Android allows people to request premium mobile washes wherever they may be.

His love for programming started when he was just 12 years old, and he created a YouTube channel where he made tutorial videos teaching viewers how to write HTML/ CSS. His simple initiative eventually started to earn from Google for the Adsense on his YouTube content. His first check from Google amounted to $100 dollars. He had it framed, and it still hangs in his office today as a constant reminder of his humble beginnings.

After completing high school, Miles Smith moved to San Francisco, where he attended a programming boot camp known as the Hack Reactor. He moved to Florida after, where he landed his first employment as a software engineer at the age of 19. He was tasked to lead a development team for a full year, producing customer service tools. After the Florida Blue stint, he moved on to work for Walmart and Uber thereafter.

In 2019, he found himself working with Florida Blue once again, this time as Principal Interface Developer with at least 15 under him. He supervised the team in architecture design, work assignment, removing blocks, increasing efficiency, and working with businesses to identify new work. In the same year, Miles Smith bought his first home in Meridian, Idaho, and relocated from San Francisco. It was there that he met his future business partner, Jay Laurent.

Throughout the course of his inspiring career, he has spearheaded and co-created several impressive digital tools from custom company-specific middleware that increased the number of requests per second by 40% and introduced 50+ common utility functions that streamlined development for every developer in the company. He developed React NPM libraries, decreasing normal frontend development time by 20%, which meant that each developer at the company was 20% more efficient. The opportunity to be able to make a lasting impact on various industries came one after the other as he got invited to engineer exciting tools such as the Marketing Allocation Planning Engine (MAPLE). He was also invited to be lead frontend engineer for several AdTech initiatives, including React, Styled Components, Node JS, Go, Java, Python, and external ad networks such as AdWords and FB, among others. In February 2020, Miles Smith became the lead engineer on the Apple Search Ads Initiative. He was also responsible for introducing development standards for JavaScript, React, and Node.

Without a doubt, Miles Smith is contributing greatly to upgrading the capabilities of businesses in this generation through his programs. With MS Technologies leading the production of innovative digital solutions, the demand for more of them can be expected to increase in the coming years.
