Parachute Reinventing the People Experience Comfort at Home

Source: Parachute

Last year’s COVID-19 pandemic put a heavy premium on the importance of having a humble abode worthy of lockdowns and work-from-home requirements. With the new reality indicating that more professionals will be spending more time at home for a few more years, people are looking for ways to upgrade their home experiences. And companies like Parachute are way ahead of that curve.

Parachute is an e-commerce company with one mission—make going to bed even better. The linen design, manufacturing, and distribution company has achieved that by sourcing some of the best bedroom and home products from top-quality factories from all over the world to create some of the best linens that the country has ever seen, felt, and touched.

The company was launched by company founder and CEO Ariel Kaye, a design enthusiast who turned her passion for home goods and design into the virtual megastore that is Parachute today. “Home is everything to me,” explains Kaye. “I created Parachute to bring more comfort to your world through premium, accessible essentials. As someone who spent a decade working in advertising and brand development, I realized there was a hole in the market—and saw a real business opportunity.”

Before Parachute was born, Ariel Kaye discovered how hard it was to land on one brand that could provide all home linen needs. She crafted the brand now known as Parachute and launched it back in 2014 as an online-only and direct-to-consumer brand focused on beddings. Since those early beginnings, the company has established multiple brick-and-mortar locations across the United States, starting in Venice, California.

Over the years, the linen company has created a strong community among its consumers and customers. Parachute loyalists follow the brand, not just for its top-shelf products but the superb customer service and value-giving culture that the company has built. Through its social media channels and online store, the company continues to educate people on the best alternatives to make a stay-at-home experience just as good as any international escapade or out-of-town vacation.

Today, Parachute has expanded its line of products to include beddings, inserts, bath needs, baby needs, tabletop decors, pillows, and many others. Recently, the company has also released a line of robe and loungewear, bringing it now into the home fashion space, one that Ariel and her team hope to conquer more and more in the coming years.

Parachute has exploded in popularity over the last few years on social channels, gathering as much as 446,000 followers on Instagram and 210,000 followers on Facebook. In January 2021, the linen company made headlines after announcing a partnership with Crate & Barrel, including a line of exclusive products not offered anywhere else.

Apart from being a business, Parachute also commits to playing its part in the community by advancing the agenda of the Black Lives Matter movement. The company’s initiatives to fight racism include deploying anti-racism hiring practices, launching anti-discrimination education and training policies, and a mentorship and grant program for businesswomen of color.

In all that it does, Parachute aims to inject both quality and heart into the process. By doing so, they hope to become one of the leaders in the home decor and product category both nationally and globally. Learn more by checking out the company’s website and Instagram account.
