From a deep-rooted love for football to the sudden feeling of emptiness and lack of fulfillment, Asán Neil-Evergin found a new purpose through which he preaches progression over complacency. He realized how important it is for people to have a positive and progressive mindset towards their life journey, which motivated him to establish his clothing brand, Progression Over Complacency Athletic (POCA, LLC.). More than anything else, POCA, LLC. is more focused on turning lives around through various methods.
Asán Neil-Evergin played football in college and offered personal training services, which didn’t bring him any income. And being a fashionable young man, he decided to go into clothing so he could make some money from it and drive the societal changes he is passionate about. Asán sees himself as a dream chaser and someone who will stop at nothing to bring his vision to life. POCA, LLC. is a clothing brand that makes athletic wear, casual wear, and streetwear.

Since its inception, Progression Over Complacency Athletic has achieved notable milestones, such as designing a custom sweat-suit for Roddy Rich and a custom hoodie for Danileigh. The brand also designed a bubble jacket for YNW Melly and custom sweat-suits and shirts for football players Nnamaka Samson Ebukam and Kendrick Bourne. Asán has built the brand from the ground up to accommodate a wide range of people from all walks of life. POCA won top designer at Gulfport, MS Fashion show, which gave the brand an exclusive iHeart Radio Interview and multiple features in CT Fashion Magazines.
As the brand continues to grow, Asán hopes to send messages of hope, self-belief, and strength to people who are willing to improve their lives in all areas. His five-year goal for POCA is to establish different locations and complex buildings all over the United States and the world at large. “I have plans to bring a lot of societal changes to life, and I intend to extend all these initiatives internationally. We are in this together,” Asán says.

While Asán continues to put in work, his real goal for everyone watching his brand’s growth is for them to understand the message behind the Progression Over Complacency Athletic clothing. “I want everyone to use my experience and knowledge in the pursuit of their dreams. No matter how much it seems like the world is against you, while it isn’t easy, you are all you have. Simply bet on yourself and keep pushing till you get to your destination,” he says.
POCA, LLC. will be launching a designer collection sometime soon. It will also be involved in organizing multiple programs on entrepreneurship, mentorship, and leadership for upcoming leaders and entrepreneurs. Asán Neil-Evergin, through his brand, hosts nationwide 7v7 events to help athletes get more exposure. Not many entities have tried to do a lot under one umbrella, but POCA, LLC. is on course to become one of the biggest companies in the world, making progressive changes.
