Redefining Philanthropy in Business: How CEO of Cyberbacker Craig Goodliffe is Setting the New Standard For Employee Benefits

Virtual assistant services are becoming an increasingly popular option for businesses that need help with their daily operations. Companies like Cyberbacker are coming along to improve the process for both employees and the companies they will be assisting. The first step in the success of a company such as this is to prioritize the success of its employees.

Sure, a company can offer a livable wage and a good healthcare plan, maybe a discounted rate on your cell phone bill, but it’s the employee outreach programs at Cyberbacker that go beyond the call of duty. This means supporting the employees in more ways to make sure they, and their dependents, are taken care of. Craig Goodliffe is fully invested in his employee’s success.

Goodliffe takes a very active role in his employees’ success and takes his role as Founder and CEO to a new level with compassion and care. “Every week they meet with me and their seniors. We ask them about their goals — not just at work, but what are their personal goals and are they achieving them? Are they seeing success? How are they growing, and how are they winning? It’s critical to help people pause for a second and just take inventory of what they’ve accomplished.”

One of the programs that has been most beloved by Cyberbacker employees is the CyberCapital program. This program provides loans to qualified Cyberbackers so that they can invest in themselves through building homes and other large projects. In showing this trust and commitment to their employees, the company is showing the employees that they are their most valuable asset. “In 2021, Hurricane Bernadette really impacted a lot of our Cyberbackers, so we jumped in with calamity loans so they’d be able to have their needs met,” Goodliffe said.

A profit-sharing program also helps Cyberbacker employees by supplementing their earnings. “Our profit share program allows us to build our retirement plan as the company grows,” says Jennifer Capero, Goodliffe’s own Cyberbacker. Goodliffe recognizes that his company’s fruitfulness is thanks to his employees’ efforts, so he wants to make sure they reap the rewards as well. “They earned it. Every penny. They show up early, they work hard, they handle everything. I sit back in amazement at our team,” says Goodliffe.

Of course, as with any great company, Cyberbacker cares about its employees’ success in their careers. The company emphasizes its employees’ ability to learn and grow, offering them the opportunity to train with leaders in their industry and better themselves professionally. This is the type of initiative that helps Goodliffe’s company stand out. Cyberbackers aren’t just cogs in the machine — they are individuals with goals and aspirations of their own, and it is Goodliffe’s mission to help them achieve those goals through his company.

But Goodliffe takes that passion for growth even beyond his employees’ careers. He also wants them to be successful in their personal endeavors, offering weekly training sessions about personal development, goal setting, and budgeting. These are skills that may not necessarily be related to the core duties of a Cyberbacker but will help prepare them to live a more fulfilling and bountiful life.

The company has four core values that it shares with its employees: relationship, growth, fun, and wealth. Cyberbacker works to help its employees to achieve success through all of these principles, with an eye towards empowerment. The company is formed around enrichment, both of their clients’ businesses and the lives of their employees. “I love my job because it allows me to build strong relationships with my family, friends, and the people I work with. It helps me grow professionally and personally, it is fun and financially rewarding,” says Capero.

It’s no wonder that employee satisfaction at Cyberbacker is so high — Goodliffe goes above and beyond in making sure that the employees are taken care of both in and out of work. “My favorite part about being a Cyberbacker is the opportunity to help build an organization that empowers business owners to scale their businesses while providing a great career to highly effective, hardworking individuals,” says Capero. This atmosphere of respect and encouragement is something for which all companies should strive.
