Hosting a near rags-to-riches story, Jason Nemes did not have a picture-perfect childhood. His parents split when he was a year old, and he often felt a disparity between him and his classmates. From primary to high school, Jason was surrounded by children of wealthy families.
Their golden lifestyles and point of privilege encouraged the enterprising child to paint a similar picture, so he got to work. Despite expecting a hard life ahead, Jason Nemes was still wholly unprepared for the challenges that stood in his path.
After graduating from high school, he attended community college, but he eventually put a pause on earning a degree. With his foot on the brakes, Jason began to wonder how exactly he would set his dream in motion. “I always had a vision of massive success. I would get that going to my friends’ parents’ houses. I knew what was out there; I was just unsure how I would get there at that time,” he explains.
Driven but lost, Jason Nemes didn’t know what to do. At 21, he got a sales job at a company that seemed to be doing well for itself. Jason was also able to lead a team; however, it was short-lived as it would run out of leads after only two years.
Jason Nemes went back to school and graduated from the University of North Texas with a BBA in Economics. Following his graduation, Jason tried a corporate job in selling digital media advertising, but he realized it was not for him. He then bumped into a friend and was offered an opportunity in the direct selling business. Looking at his friend’s incredible success in the industry, Jason thought, “Why not?” and finally tasted success.
In Jason’s first three years of work, he was ranked within the top 3% of his company, and in the next three, he quickly sat within the top 1 percentile. “I went from having a trash bag of clothes and living in my buddy’s living room to being a 6 figure earner in 3 years,” he shares.
“When you want something in this life bad enough and are willing to make the necessary sacrifices day in and day out even when you are tired and don’t feel like it, amazing things happen. Go after your dreams.”
