Seoul Juice: A Healthy Natural Drink for Athletes, Parents/Kids and Health Enthusiasts

The point of entrepreneurship is noticing a need and stepping in to provide it. Former top college athlete Luis Manta saw how much athletes needed a proper natural and healthy drink and stepped onto the scene with Seoul Juice.

With its roots deeply ingrained in South Korea, Seoul Juice is a pear juice that has received rave reviews about how tasty and healthy it is. Since it was launched last year, it has become a top-selling product in California, especially in Los Angeles. In recent developments, Luis Manta has relaunched Seoul Juice to cover not just athletes but also parents and children.

Marketed as a health and natural drink, Seoul Juice has no extra sugar added and is a certified non-GMO fruit juice. Luis vouches for it as the perfect alternative to other drinks as it offers all the benefits of the Korean Pear. Seoul Juice is available in all Bristol Farms locations in Southern California, the Open Market, Rainbow Acres and Marina Cafe.

Pivoting from sports to entrepreneurship for Luis Manta has brought about a remarkable product many parents and children love. Seoul Juice also sports new branding details that give off a fun, clean and hydrating vibe. It features the mascot “Nashi,” which highlights the super fruit used to make the beverage. The Korean pear is also referred to as the Nashi pear in some parts of Asia. The rebranding was done by Small Batch Studios in Phenix, and they brought Luis’ vision to life by portraying Seoul Juice as a fun product that is also full of life.

The drive behind Seoul Juice is fueled by Luis Manta’s years as a college athlete. He understands the importance of practice, preparation and hard work, and he applies those to his business. Before Seoul Juice came to life, Luis spent a great deal of time carrying out research on the beverage industry and seeking advice from other entrepreneurs who run successful beverage companies. “Don’t be afraid to reach out to a company that you admire, as there are a lot of nice founders that will help with advice. I have quite a bit of industry experience, and that has helped a lot. I’ve done all types of jobs in the industry, from stocking shelves at grocery stores to leading development on multiple national and celebrity food brands, including Chef John Howie, Buzzfeed Tasty and Eva Longoria,” he said.

Seoul Juice taking over Los Angeles is a planned move by Luis as he understands that there is a market for the company in the city. He never fails to express his admiration for the people who he describes as motivated, passionate and interesting. “Los Angeles is great for collaboration, and there is something for everyone here. It is the place people come to chase goals. I also love how diverse Los Angeles is, and there are so many great places for food here. It is a perfect home for Seoul Juice,” he explained.

The plan for Seoul Juice is to get it into every grocery store across the United States. Plans are also underway to develop other flavors over the next few years and some more unique product ideas affiliated with the company. Without deviating from its “fun + healthy” mantra, Seoul Juice hopes to continue making people happy and have fun while maintaining optimal health.
