The Simmons Group Breathing Life into Innovative Business Models

The Simmons Group Venture Capitalists has been giving businesses, especially startups and new companies, all the lifelines they need to get started and thrive in the cutthroat business world. Since 2000, when Norman Simmons founded the company, which was named Simmons Group Innovations at the time, it has gone through a series of evolution and development. The company has evolved from being a database backup company that provided cell phones contact protection services to a venture capitalist company that spots diamonds in the rough and gives polishes out their luster. In Norman’s words, “Today the Simmons group has a main focus on curating & investing in new normal business models that have range and depth to change the narrative or innovate a said industry.”

One of the top investments that The Simmons Group is involved in is Gametime Hydration Inc., an alkaline water sports drink on the market. Gametime Hydraation Inc. takes health and wellness to another level in sports, and it has partnered with elite partners in education over the years. Since the company launched in February 2015, it has donated more than $5 million in hydration to youth and collegiate sports. The Simmons Group is heavily invested in Gametime Hydration and plays a huge role in helping the startup actualize its goals.

To further expand its reach as a venture capitalist company, The Simmons Group is also invested in technology, and its leading investment is in DropLoads.tech, an app that has been in development for more than two years to deliver full-service instant and same-day shipping services. Describing the startup, “DropLoads leads innovations in the independent contractor industry—the gig economy. DropLoads is the only full-service instant and same-day shipping application nationwide and has made it possible for customers who need fast mass in-city and domestic shipping to have access to it,” Norman said.

Another tech investment under The Simmons Group is the patent wireless Bluetooth face mask, which allows users to listen to make phone calls and listen to music with their face masks. Taking things a notch higher, another company, The Simmons Group, has invested in is Motorpoolapp.com, a patented instant car servicing company that gets independent mechanics and shops on the road to fix people’s cars on the go. In Norman’s words, “We saw the possibility of a Triple-A for the 22nd century, and we took it. More than 25 viable companies are in Motorpoolapp’s portfolio, including mySafeAudio.com, and we intend to continue expanding that portfolio.”

The Simmons Group is committed to grassroots investments and taking those startups to great heights in the business world. The company has a strong presence in 30 states, 500 AAU teams, 100+ nonprofits, and four Division-one Conferences. Norman’s understanding of American corporate infrastructure and the desire to create generational wealth continue to fuel his drive. His goal for The Simmons Group is to continue creating products capable of changing the world and making it better. It is actively looking for companies to invest in through its extensive reach and ability to spot unique opportunities.
