Ann Marks Offers The Full Feedings Method as a Way to Help Other Parents Get Their Sleep Back

Only a few parents believe and understand that sleep is possible even with a newborn, without crying it out. There is great importance in working on sleep beginning from the birth of an infant. Parents need to know it’s okay to hold their child and that doing so will actually help them achieve the consistent nighttime sleep they want.

Ann Marks is a single mom who devoted herself to changing the misconception that becoming a parent means giving up sleep. With The Full Feedings Method, she has found a way to help parents get their sleep back. “I want them to understand that sleep deprivation in parenthood is not “normal” and they have choices they can make to establish and maintain consistent nighttime sleep for their baby,” shares Ann.

The Full Feedings Method is a simple way of life that can be safely implemented from birth and helps parents achieve consistent nighttime sleep without traditional sleep training. The method focuses on meeting the baby’s sleep and eating needs fully, at every age, ensuring that baby is fully fed, not over tired in any period, and not sleeping too much during the day. When those three things are age-appropriately managed each day, the sleep naturally follows without having him or her cry out.

The Full Feedings Method allows infants to sleep in a different way. It also gives consistent nighttime sleep by 8 to 12 weeks old. This method can be implemented at any age as long as the baby is still napping, making sleep possible for any parents who want it. As she grows her following and community, Ann and her Full Feedings Team is looking forward to making sleep the standard for all babies from birth.

Ann found infant sleep so easy to understand that she wanted to explain it to parents in a sleep deprivation-friendly format. She explains the method in the 3-step sleep method videos. She also created monthly guides to show parents what an age-appropriate routine looks like for their baby. All of this is offered in her subscription-based Online Program. In addition to the three-step sleep method videos and monthly guides, more than 80 videos and over 50 PDFs are in the Other Ingredients section of the program that helps parents troubleshoot their own eating and sleep problems.

Ann’s motivation came from understanding her own need for sleep. When she became a mother, she was surprised to learn how many parents accept sleepless nights as normal. Smart, educated, and loving people are justifying a lack of sleep for themselves, their baby, and their entire family because they have been led to believe the only way to get their baby to sleep is to let them cry.

That passion for new motherhood led her on her journey to “figure it out.” Her only goal was to get her daughter to sleep so she could sleep. “I was in search of a method that would get my daughter sleeping through the night as quickly as possible,” says Ann. “I wanted something that was flexible and gentle yet effective. I didn’t find what I was looking for so she decided to create an alternative: a full night of sleep for any parent who wants it, without having to sleep train.”
