How Trapreligiousco Broke through the E-Commerce Clout

There’s a world of opportunity in e-commerce and apparel. Still, the industries aren’t all that easy to thrive in, given the endless competition that there now is online. So to see brands like Trapreligiousco thrive and grow only attests to one thing: they know what they’re doing, and they’re doing it quite well.

From a distance, Trapreligiousco is another clothing brand that sells merchandise online. But take a deeper look, and one will notice that it’s more than that. Founded in 2015, the apparel company used its platform and products to share life stories through clothing design and video content online. Their content and offering would grow a steady following and continually build that out over the years. Over four years and a half later, Trapreligiousco has grown into a community, and right at the center is its merchandise and stories.

The company began through the efforts of an entrepreneur who goes by the nickname Trappa Express. Originally from a small town called Windsor in the eastern parts of North Carolina, Trappa knew that he wanted to run his own business from a young age. He started multiple ventures across various industries. Growing up, Trappa Express belonged to a family that didn’t have much.  “Nobody in my family owned anything, but all my friends’ families owned a bunch. It motivated me,” shares the serial entrepreneur.

In 2015, Trappa started his clothing brand and offered T-shirts, sweaters, and hoodies. And for four and a half years, that’s all the brand needed to get on momentum. Today, the clothing brand has expanded into all kinds of products, including hats, jerseys, accessories, and many other things. So even as the COVID-19 pandemic ravaged the world, Trapreligiousco continued to thrive, selling as many as 1,625 shirts within three months alone.

Mostly, people have patronized the brand because of its commitment to providing top-level designs with every release. As a designer himself, Trappa oversees the whole creative process and approves all products released on the company’s pages.

Moreover, Trapreligiousco is a company committed to helping others. The brand has sent some of its clothes to affected people through all the major storms that have hit the country since its conception. Trappa also regularly donates some of his products to the homeless and incarcerated.

Despite all it has accomplished in a little over half a decade, Trappa Express looks forward and dreams big for Trapreligiousco and his other ventures. He hopes to open a brick-and-mortar store and create a place for his followers to build connections with like-minded people. He also hopes to create a warehouse where the company can create everything in-house and elevate product quality in the process. True to the value of generosity, Trappa also hopes that the company can provide opportunities for up-and-coming designers and brands along the way. The serial entrepreneur from Windsor will readily admit that the journey has not been easy.  There was little support for his brand in the beginning. Accordingly, he hopes to correct that narrative in the future by allowing Trapreligiousco to be that jumping board for other people who want to get into entrepreneurship too.

The brand is gearing up to launch a children’s set before Christmas comes around this year and run a few fashion shows to promote their upcoming products. Learn more about the brand by visiting its Instagram profile.
