As the world progresses, people have become more open-minded and accepting of things that were once heavily stigmatized. However, some things are still rarely talked about and continue to be considered taboo, such as involuntary urine leakage. Fortunately, the outstanding team at Watkins-Conti Products, Inc. aims to help the millions of women who suffer from this condition.

Founded by impressive entrepreneur Allison Watkins-Conti, the enterprise intends to provide women with a clean, eco-friendly, and easily accessible solution to the embarrassing problem. What motivated this inspiring woman to pursue the project is her own anecdotal experience and the knowledge that there is a massive gap in the marketplace for effective and holistic solutions. The final driving force behind her pursuit was when she learned that as many as one in three women will experience the condition at some point in their life.

In 2015, the incredible woman came up with an idea that allows a person to manage the involuntary urine leakage themselves. The solution is called YoniFit. Since then, she has made it her mission to provide the groundbreaking product to as many people as possible. She has designed, patented, engineered, and manufactured the solution, which is now entering the FDA approval process.

The venture has secured a hefty amount of roughly $5 million to ensure that the product will be the highest quality and guaranteed safe to use. To do that, she has built a quality management system, partnered with a top contract manufacturing facility, and conducted biocompatibility testing, engineering testing and a feasibility study. The final step is to complete the pivotal trials, which are currently ongoing at Stanford Medical Center in Palo Alto California and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. You can sign up for the trials at www.LeakyLady.com

Aside from its revolutionary products, perhaps the company’s biggest asset is founder Allison Watkins-Conti. In addition to her excellent leadership skills, the vibrant woman is dedicated to the innovation and development of affordable, effective, and practical solutions that address common life-altering difficulties faced in today’s environment.

Because of her efforts, Allison has received accolades from prestigious award-giving bodies. She was recently named one of the Top 20 Under 40 in Business Times Magazine and has received the Journal Record’s Achievers Under 40 Award. She was also recognized as a 20th Century Woman in Innovation and selected as a Top Ten Inspirational Woman in Disrupt Magazine. Most recently, she was nominated for Woman of the Year and recognized as one of 50 Women Leaders Making a Difference.

As for Watkins-Conti Products, the Oklahoma Venture Forum has recognized the stellar organization as “Most Promising New Venture” for 2021. Additionally, it was named as one of the Top Ten Nephrology and Urology Companies by MedTech Outlook alongside companies like Baxter and Medtronic.

More than providing a safe and clean alternative for those who have urinary incontinence, Allison and her fantastic team are working to provide women with a voice and hope. The team intends to show people that the issues that we face with our bodies are not something to be ashamed of; rather, we can take autonomy over our own health. The solution that they are working to bring to market will facilitate just that by providing people a solution they can use themselves and which helps solve the condition from the comfort of their own homes.

As the enterprise awaits the clinical trial data to submit for approval from the FDA, the Watkins-Conti team continues to advocate for the millions of women worldwide suffering from this debilitating issue so that they know that they are not alone and a solution is coming soon!
